Transport Equipment

Buses, heavy trucks, railway equipment, metro cars, and airport equipment. Supporting national transport projects in the GCC.

Project Cargo Lifecycle

A structured methodology for managing project cargo from start to delivery at the project site.

1

Feasibility & Project Assessment

We study your equipment's dimensions, weights, and nature. Review technical drawings and specs. Determine optimal shipping method (flat rack, open top, break bulk) and estimate total cost and timeline.

2

Route Planning & Logistics Engineering

We map the full transport route: road from Chinese factory to port, sea route, and road from destination port to project site. Verify bridge/tunnel clearances and coordinate special permits with local authorities.

3

Engineering Packaging & Crating

We supervise export-standard packaging: moisture and rust protection, professional lashing & securing, ISPM-15 heat-treated wooden crates, and special protection for sensitive components. Every item is documented and photographed pre-shipment.

4

Ocean Freight & Monitoring

We ship equipment on the appropriate vessel with dedicated space. Coordinate with captain and crew for loading arrangements. Weekly status reports on cargo location and condition. For break bulk, we provide a surveyor to supervise loading and discharge.

5

Customs Clearance & Site Delivery

We handle customs clearance for heavy equipment with all special permits. Coordinate heavy road transport using specialized trailers (lowboy, modular). Ensure safe offloading at the final site. Our presence doesn't end at delivery — we follow up through to commissioning.

6

Handover & Project Closure

We document the complete delivery: photos of equipment at project site, technical condition report, all shipping and clearance documents, project completion certificate. A comprehensive final report for future project reference.

Project Cargo FAQ

What exactly is OOG (Out of Gauge) cargo?
OOG cargo is any shipment exceeding standard 40ft container dimensions: width > 2.35m, height > 2.39m, or length > 12.03m. Also includes cargo exceeding standard container weight limits (>28 tons for 20ft). This requires specialized equipment and custom planning.
How much does shipping heavy equipment cost vs regular freight?
Project cargo costs more than standard freight due to: specialized container equipment, extra port handling charges, special transport permits, higher insurance, and engineering planning. But we help optimize costs by: disassembling large equipment when possible, consolidating shipments, and selecting optimal ports. Each project is priced individually.
Do you transport equipment to inland sites far from ports?
Yes, this is one of our key strengths. We transport heavy equipment from port to any location in GCC countries — even remote desert sites. We provide specialized trucks (lowboy trailers, modular trailers) and handle all heavy transport road permits and government coordination. We've moved equipment to inland sites 800+ km from the port.
How long does a complete project cargo operation take?
Duration varies by project complexity: Planning phase 1-2 weeks (feasibility, permits, engineering). Road transport in China 3-7 days. Ocean freight 16-25 days. Customs clearance 3-7 days. Road transport to destination 2-7 days. Approximate total: 30-50 days from planning start to final delivery.
What about insurance for heavy equipment during transit?
We provide All-Risk comprehensive insurance covering: road transport in China, vessel loading, ocean freight, port discharge, and road transport to final destination. Coverage includes: total and partial loss, damage, theft, and marine accident damage. Insurance value = equipment value + freight cost + 10%.
Can you relocate an entire factory from China to the GCC?
Yes, we've relocated entire factories! We send a team to the factory site in China to supervise: machine disassembly, numbering and documenting every piece, packaging each component according to its sensitivity, shipping components in coordinated batches, and reassembly at the new GCC site. We offer complete factory relocation service including customs clearance for all equipment.
